After 10+ years in visual and brand design, I shifted to UX because I wanted to solve problems, not just design pretty things.
What I love most about research is the gap between what people say and what they actually do. Watching someone struggle with a task, create workarounds, and then tell you "it's fine" - that's where the real insights live. I like the mess of raw data and the process of sorting it into something that makes sense. Planning research, understanding the product, finding the right questions to ask - that part is satisfying too.
When I'm not working, I split my time between volunteering at an animal shelter (caring for dogs, cleaning kennels, and walking them - not glamorous, but necessary), spending time with my own rescue dog Marie, and staying mentally and physically healthy through boxing and Olympic weightlifting.
I am based in Belgium and always open to new challenges or connections.
